February 13, 2008: Congratulations to Ethan McLeary, who was named a 2008 "Sports Hero" by Pacific Sport and the City of Kelowna. As an 11-year-old, Ethan won almost every event he entered in BC Competitions in 2007, including:
- Provincial Champion in all 3 events - Trampoline, DMT & Tumbling
- DMT National Champion in 2007
- Tumbling Silver Medalist of National championships
- Ranked 1st in Canada in all 3 events - Trampoline, DMT & Tumbling prior to 2007 World Age group Championships
- 4th place on DMT at World Age Group Championships
