Trampoline Athletes Shine at First Competition

The Okanagan Gymnastics trampoline team had their first competition of the year, the virtual Shasta Invitational, on February 21. This was the first Team BC qualifier for Western Canada Cup for our Level 3-4 athletes. The final qualifier will be at BC Championships March 25-27.

Our team finished the competition with 3 gold medals, 3 silver medals, and 4 bronze medals.

Brayden Renou earned a gold medal on both trampoline and tumbling, and a bronze medal on double mini trampoline in the Level 4 14U category.

Ethan Scott finished in first place in Level 6 trampoline.

Seija Bishop had a silver medal performance on every event - trampoline, tumbling, and double mini trampoline in the Level 5 17+ category.

Our team also had three bronze medal finishes in Level 4 trampoline: Kayley Gawley earned a bronze medal Level 4 15+, Paige Porcellato finished with a bronze medal in Level 4 14U, and Jordon Hevesy earned a bronze medal in L4 15+.
